Day trip
Yang Bay: a mountain valley with three waterfalls and Raglai culture
In the language of the indigenous Raglai people, Yang Bay means “waterfall of heaven”. The park in the mountains west of Nha Trang combines things rarely found in one place: three waterfalls, a natural hot mineral spring and a cultural programme with Raglai music and dance. It is a landscaped area with paths rather than wild forest — easy with children and without special preparation.
Where it is
In Khánh Vĩnh commune, more than forty kilometres west of Nha Trang; according to the operator, the drive takes about an hour.

The Yang Bay, Yang Khang and Ho Cho waterfalls, a natural pool of hot mineral water, an old sacred tree and performances by Raglai musicians.
How long
A full day including the drive there and back; the operator sells a package with transfer from the city, which takes care of the logistics.
Getting there
The park is run by the Khatoco company, which has its own transfer from Nha Trang — useful if you don't want to find a car yourself.
Distance
According to the official website, the park is more than forty kilometres from central Nha Trang and the drive takes about an hour.
How to get there
On your own — by taxi or with a driver — or with the operator's package that includes a transfer from the city. The road runs through the rural west of the province; we found no public transport to the park gate.
When to go
The park is open all year on a landscaped site, but after heavy rain the waterfalls are muddier and stronger — swimming may be restricted on such days.
What to see inside
The site is designed for a full day: natural and cultural stops alternate with family activities.
Three waterfalls
Yang Bay, Yang Khang and Ho Cho — different in scale and with different swimming areas; the official website also mentions the natural Ho-Cho pool of hot mineral water.
Raglai culture
Performances by musicians and traditional games of the Raglai, the indigenous people of these mountains, are part of the park's programme.
For families
A botanical garden, a small zoo, a dinosaur park, kayaking and crocodile fishing complement the natural part — you can spend the day without going far from the main entrance.
The old tree
A sacred tree (Cây Mộc Thần) is preserved on the site — a spot the operator highlights separately in its description of the park.
