01What it is
Sailing Club stands right on the beach at 72–74 Trần Phú. The national tourism portal calls it the city's flagship venue for more than twenty years; the club itself speaks of three decades in business. The format changes through the day: breakfasts and lunches with a view of the bay, sunbeds and a pool by day, dinner on the terrace, and towards night a music programme and dancing by the sea. The crowd is mixed, with many visitors.
02How to plan your visit
The calm option is a sunset cocktail or dinner: a view of the bay and the lights of the cable car, with the music still in the background. The night option starts after ten in the evening. The club is in the very centre of the tourist zone, within walking distance of most seafront hotels; to get back at night it is better to call a taxi through an app. In the rainy season part of the programme moves indoors or is cancelled.
03What to check
