01What it is
The provincial tourism centre describes Vinpearl Harbour as a waterfront quarter of shops, restaurants and entertainment that opened on 26 January 2024. It lists the Harbour Market with about two hundred stalls, Asian and European restaurants, a water show, DJ sets and a Korean-style jjimjilbang wellness complex. The waterfront adjoins the VinWonders park but works as a separate evening venue on the island.
02How to plan your visit
Arrive by cable car around sunset: first the views from the air, then a walk along the pier, dinner and the show. If you spent the day at VinWonders, the waterfront continues the evening naturally without going back to the city. People return either on the last cabins or on the night speed ferry the tourism centre mentions. This is a commercial space — budget more for food and entertainment than in the city.
03What to check
The tourism centre's page says the cable car runs until 23:00 and a speed ferry operates after it; the operator gives other hours in its own articles. Before an evening trip, check on vinwonders.com the time of the last cabin and ferry, the terms of a cable car ticket without park entry and the show schedule.
Before you goPhotograph the return transport schedule at the station as soon as you arrive — you will need it most in the evening.
