01What it is
According to the provincial tourism centre, the Ba Hồ stream rises on Hòn Sơn mountain, 660 metres high, and on its way down forms cascades and three large pools at different heights in primary forest. At the bottom the operator has built an eco-complex: bungalows, restaurants, a pool, kayaks and pedal boats, and a Skywalk platform. After the reform the address reads Vạn Thuận village, Nam Ninh Hòa commune; older materials give it as Ninh Ích in Ninh Hòa town.
02How to plan your visit
Leave in the morning: the road north along the highway, then a footpath along the stream to the first pool. Beyond that the path turns into scrambling over boulders; not everyone reaches the second and third pools, and that is fine. People swim in the pools; jump only where you can see the depth. After coming down — the pool and lunch at the base. It is realistic to be back in the city by midday with time for the mud baths.
03What to check
On 21.09.2026 the complex's website gave: hours 7:00–16:30, an entrance ticket of 135,000 VND including the pool, water games and the Skywalk. After rain the rocks are slippery and the flow stronger — in the rainy season and right after a downpour it is better to skip the route above the first pool. You need shoes with a grippy sole, not flip-flops.
Before you goPut your phone and documents in a dry bag: on the stretch between the pools you need your hands free.
