01What it is
The provincial tourism centre describes GO! Nha Trang as a complex of more than 30,000 square metres in the Vĩnh Điềm Trung area. The supermarket offers more than 28,000 product lines, about 95 percent of them made in Vietnam. The arcade has nearly a hundred shops of local and international brands, plus a cinema, a bookshop and a children's play area. This is the former Big C, and many taxi drivers still call it that.
02How to plan your visit
The complex is away from the tourist seafront, so people come here deliberately by taxi. A rainy-day plan with children: play area, lunch at the food court, a film, the grocery shopping. For people living in the west of the city it is also the nearest large shop with predictable price tags. There are fewer foreign delicacies than visitors expect; local produce, fruit and household goods, on the other hand, are well stocked.
03What to check
The tourism centre's page gives the hours as 07:00–22:00 — check the chain's website before an early or late visit. Look up film times and screening language on the cinema's website: the language and whether there are subtitles are shown in the schedule. At the supermarket entrance you may be asked to leave your bag in a locker or have it sealed.
Before you goGive the driver the old name too, Big C: they will understand the address faster.
Access, opening hours and prices can change. Confirm the conditions right before you pay or leave.
