01What it is
According to the provincial tourism centre, Nha Trang Center is an upscale shopping complex at 20 Trần Phú: five floors and about 15,000 square metres. Inside are restaurants and coffee chains, a fitness club, a spa, a bank branch and clothing and souvenir shops. It sits on the northern part of the seafront, next to the Pasteur Institute and within walking distance of Đầm market. For visitors staying in the centre it is the nearest large air-conditioned building.
02How to plan your visit
Use the mall as a break in a beach or sightseeing day: lunch, coffee, a cash machine, small pharmacy items. In the rainy season it is handy to duck in from the seafront when a downpour starts — it usually does not last all day. With children you can combine it with the Yersin museum across the road. For a week's groceries you are better off at the big supermarkets in the west of the city: the choice here is smaller and prices higher.
03What to check
The tourism centre's page does not give opening hours — check at the entrance or on the complex's website. The line-up of tenants changes, so don't count on a particular restaurant from an old review. Motorbike parking at the entrance is paid; keep the ticket until you leave.
Before you goUse it as a meeting point: the building is easy to see from the beach and every taxi driver knows it.
Access, opening hours and prices can change. Confirm the conditions right before you pay or leave.
