01What it is
Hòn Tằm is one of the bay islands listed by the provincial tourism portal. Visits are organised as a paid day resort: a beach, restaurants and the Hon Tam Mud Bath complex, which VinWonders presents on its official website. The description lists mud baths, hydromassage, a mineral jacuzzi and a pool with a sea view. You reach the island only on the operator's boat, so a day ticket usually includes the transfer — read what the package contains carefully.
02How to plan your visit
Give the island a whole day and don't try to combine it with a city programme. In the morning the crossing and the beach, in the worst heat the mud baths and lunch in the shade, afterwards one more hour by the water and the return boat. With children this is calmer than a tour of several islands: there is no changing from boat to boat. In the rainy season check the forecast: in rough seas the crossing may be delayed and the beach will be little fun.
03What to check
On 21.09.2026 the VinWonders website gave the mud complex hours as 08:00–16:40 and packages from 450,000 VND per adult (the same figures were still shown when re-checked on 22.09.2026); before buying, confirm the price, the time of the last boat and what the ticket includes. The operator's page gives Hòn Tre in its address line — confirm the departure pier when booking.
Before you goBuy your ticket on the official website or at the operator's ticket office and keep the confirmation showing the return boat time.
Access, opening hours and prices can change. Confirm the conditions right before you pay or leave.
